familiar with that area. I'm a bartender and plan on moving from Cleveland to the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area in mid to late August. I've been told that this is great time to come down and look for a job because it's when everybody is hiring. My plan is to rent a furnished apartment somewhere and get settled in and find a job hopefully in a South Beach Club (I sorta doubt that will happen but I can always hope) but if not somewhere in that area. I'd like to get something in between the 2 areas so perhaps I can work at two or three different places like I do up here. I'd like to know what are some good areas to live in and what areas to avoid. Also any links to these places would be appreciated. I'll probably live like this for 1 or 2 months until I find a permanent place. A small house with a garage would be a big plus. But I only have 500-700 a month to spend so I'm not hoping that hard. Also any of you in the service industry or with friends in the service industry who could give some advice on getting a job down their would be appreciated.
